Every month at the Memory Cafe they have stimulating activities, gentle exercise and most importantly, lost of fun! There is separate space for carers to meet, chat and share experiences, plus an oppurtunity for a session with a specialist psychotherapist. Hertswise Dementia Hubs

Hertswise is a service designed for people living with dementia, low level memory loss or mild cognitive impairment, with their friends, family and carers at its heart. It’s provided by a partnership of community and voluntary groups to ensure we can provide the kind of support that you need.

St Mary's Church Memory Café and Carers Retreat

The café, based in St Mary’s Church and open on the first Friday of every month (starting on the 4 October 2019), is there to give people a chance to share their experiences, make friends in a relaxed environment and enjoy the social experience.

People with dementia and their carers can drop in between 10.30am to 12:30pm. There is a suggested contribution of £5 and the address is Church Street, Watford WD18 0EG

Hertswise Early Onset Group

---

Hertswise has a Young Onset Worker (Sam Balding) who runs groups across the county – the Watford one is at North Watford Fire Station, St Albans Road WD24 7RX, on the last Thursday of the month from 11am to 1pm. Young Onset groups are aimed at those diagnosed with dementia aged 65 or under.

Montrose Care Home Memory Café

---

Aimed at people who live with dementia, as well as their families & carers, this unique cafe is a great way to share experiences and stories, and to get help, advice & support from the home's specialist dementia team. The events are delivered in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society.

The next café dates are: 15 November at 10:30am, 13 December at 10:30am and 17 January 2020 at 10:30am

Bushey Baptist Church Carers’ Club

A free friendly place for carers of those living with dementia to come together for help, support and information at Bushey Baptist Church. The club is held on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Meriden Community Centre Dementia Cafe

Forget Me Not Restaurant with West Herts College

---

The restaurant opens on the last Thursday of every month (excluding school holidays) from 12noon to 2pm. To ensure diners have a relaxed and pleasant experience, catering students at West Herts College’s Forget Me Not Restaurant have taken their time to become Dementia Friends before launching this dining experience, to help provide dementia-friendly customer service and understand the challenges facing people with dementia.

Warum gibt es Preisunterschiede zwischen den Stylings?

---

Das Styling für ein Fotoshooting ist ein kurzes Styling, bei dem kein aufwändiges Augen Make up und keine Hochsteckfrisur gemacht wird. Es dauert max. eine Stunde und die Produkte die verwendet werden, sind keine High End Produkte. Totzdem bekommt ihr ein tolles Ergebnis. Weniger Aufwand, trotzdem ein großer Effekt :-) Das Brautstyling liegt preislich höher, auf Grund folgender Punkte: - typgerechte Beratung - hochwertigere Produkte für mehr Haltbarkeit - aufwändigere Ausführung = mehr Zeitaufwand - Nacharbeit in Form von Anfertigung einer Face Chart, auf der alle Produkte und Techniken niedergeschrieben werden, damit ihr am Tag eurer Hochzeit die selben Produkte und Techniken erhaltet, wie bei dem Probetermin Das Brautstyling vor Ort ist teurer, als das Brautstyling im Studio, weil ich den Mehraufwand zusätzlich berechnen muss, um mein Equipment bei euch zu Hause aufbauen zu können. Das Styling für einen besonderen Anlass (Trauzeuging, Hochzeitsgast, etc...) beinhaltet ebenso: - typgerechte Beratung - hochwertigere Produkte für mehr Haltbarkeit - aufwändigere Ausführung = mehr Zeitaufwand Das Styling für einen besonderen Anlass kostet im Studio das gleiche wie z.B bei der Braut vor Ort, da die Braut schon die Kosten für den Mehraufwand durch ihr eigenes Brautstyling trägt.

Lippenstift Hochzeit

---

Ihr bekommt das Lippenprodukt am Tag der Hochzeit von mir geschenkt, sodass ihr dies den Tag über nachlegen könnt. Der Rest des Make ups ist langanhaltend. Durch Essen und Trinken ist das Abtragen der Lippenfarbe über den Tag ganz normal und kann leicht erneuert werden.

Wie muss ich mich auf den Termin vorbereiten?

---

Dein Gesicht sollte abgeschminkt und gut gepflegt sein. Bitte trinke immer ausreichend und gerade vor Styling Terminen viel, damit deine Haut und vorallem deine Lippen genug von innen heraus mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt sind. Lippenpflege ist ebenso wichtig (z.B. Augen und Nasensalbe von Bepanthen), damit die Lippen geschmeidig gehalten werden. Der Körper strahlt immer das aus, was wir ihm zuführen. Je weniger Wasser wir trinken, desto trockener wird die Haut. Make up betont trockene Haut automatisch. Daher bitte immer viel Wasser trinken. Das unterschätzen leider viele. Bitte wasche deine Haare am Abend vorher oder am Tag deines Stylings mit Shampoo und Pflege. Es ist wichtig, dass die Haare nicht fettig, dafür aber gut gepflegt sind und sich gut kämmen lassen. Solltest du Unverträglichkeiten im Bezug auf Pflegeprodukte und Kosmetik haben, teile mir dies bitte vorab mit.

Wann ist ein Brautstyling möglich?

---

Wer keine fotografische Begleitung von mir möchte, kann mich freitags & samstags nur in den Monaten November bis April buchen, da die restlichen Wochenenden meinen Brautpaaren vorenthalten sind, die mich ganztägig buchen. Die Bräute, die ich fotografisch begleite, können mich grundsätzlich immer für ihr Brautstling dazubuchen.
